Leaving a note for the City of Vancouver

VANCOUVER - Van.Act hosted a pancake brunch today to mark the publicity launch of the February 2011 tent village at the site of Vancouver Mayor Gregor Robertson`s multi-million dollar bailout for developers. The Olympic legacy at the Athlete's Village still has zero social housing units occupied.

Security on site seemed nervous that there were live people in the complex`s main square, but there were plenty of pancakes and music for all comers. ..

Good job. Keep pretending

Good job. Keep pretending that "homelessness" is associated with housing and has nothing to do with mental illness or drug addiction.

Homelessness, drug addiction, and mental illness

Good point! Homelessness is a major cause of drug addiction and mental illness!

Tent Village

Is the upcoming tent village going to look something like the one during the olympics? I was really inspired by that one. I would be very excited to see more. It was great seeing many people from different walks of life sharing that space.
