VANCOUVER - More than 400 students and supporters of public education braved a wet Vancouver afternoon  to show solidarity with striking Quebec students. Today marked the 100th day of the uprising in Quebec.

The rally was held outside the Vancouver Art Gallery. Speakers from student and labour organizations were followed by a march through downtown during rush hour. Speaker after speaker called for the abolition of post secondary tuition, an end to crushing student debt and resistance to the Quebec government's oppressive anti-democratic Bill 78 prohibiting assembly and protest.
